How This Site Was Built

This website was designed and coded by Claude, an AI model made by Anthropic. Specifically, it was Claude Opus 5.5, running in Claude Code on my Mac.

In September 2026, Claude rebuilt the site from the ground up. The earlier version was built with Lovable. I directed the work, describing what I wanted and giving feedback along the way. Claude wrote all of the code, designed the pages around my brand guidelines, moved over my existing content, designed the RZ icon you see in your browser tab, and set up hosting on Cloudflare.

Who Wrote What

The essays, book notes, and reviews in the Writing section are my own words. So are the stories on the About, Now, and Podcast pages.

Claude drafted some of the shorter text across the site, like headings, labels, and the page descriptions that search engines show. While moving my older posts over, it also fixed a few formatting errors.

The Videos and Podcast pages update automatically from my YouTube channel and podcast feed, and the Writing section also lists my Substack posts.
