I run Descript Mastery where I teach people how to grow their business through video content. Mainly, I teach a video editing software called Descript but I've started to teach other tools like CapCut, Canva, and general Youtube strategy.

I'm learning Spanish. It’s been a slow process but I'm making progress each day. I'm about an A2/B1 level (intermediate) with a goal to be B2.

August 2024:
- Spent a weekend in the town of Tepoztlan
- Toured a bunch of car dealerships with my friend Josh for a story about Chinese cars in Mexico
- Read the book Storyworthy, got inspired to write stories everyday (some are posted on my blog)
- Made a video about my experience riding a Waymo (video)
- Almost lost my dog - his spleen ruptured and he had emergency surgery (he's doing well now!)

July 2024:
- Met Derek Sivers (see conversation here)
- Experimented with quitting coffee (see results)
- Challenged myself to make 84 videos in 7 days (results)
- Traveled to San Francisco for a 'working vacation'
- Upgraded camera and mic gear
